Kyrgyzstani Kamila Abdyl-Khamitova won a bronze medal in fencing at the Islamic Solidarity Games.

The athlete participated in the individual competition. She lost the qualifying round to Shahzoda Egamberdieva from Uzbekistan and joined the fight for bronze.

The group stage in fencing will take place today.

The Islamic Solidarity Games are held for the fifth time. In 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic, they were postponed to August 2022.
