Sections of three streets to become one-way in Bishkek

Sections of three streets will be made one-way in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall reports.

The decision was made to improve the road network, increase road safety, reduce number of traffic accidents, and the number of traffic jams.

One-way traffic is planned:

• On Shopokov Street from Kievskaya Street to Chui avenue (to the north);
• On Panfilov Street from Kievskaya Street to Chui Avenue (to the north);
• On Logvinenko Street from Chui Avenue to Kievskaya Street (to the south).

The Department of the Patrol Police Service was instructed to work out the issues of installing road signs that are necessary on one-way streets. It is also planned to install road signs to organize parking spaces.

The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the Bishkek City Hall was instructed to revise the city routes along the aforementioned sections of roads.
