The President of Kyrgyzstan signed a law on the Park of Creative Industries.
As the press service of the head of state notes, the purpose of the document is to create a legal framework for functioning of a special regime for the entrepreneurs engaged in creative activities.
The creative economy has been one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the world economy in recent years. The experience of many countries demonstrates trends in sustainable growth and an increase in the share of the creative sector in GDP.
Creation of the Creative Industries Park implies not only a dynamic growth of economic indicators, an increase in the number of jobs, exports of high-margin products and tax payments in all creative areas, but also improvement of the international attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan as a country for opening creative businesses, career development and investment.
«There is a statement that if a country wants to succeed in the 21st century, then it must have an economy of the 21st century», that is, green, digital and creative, and Kyrgyzstan will become one of the first countries in the world to attach high importance to this highly productive sector," press service of the President notes.
According to the Association of Creative Industries of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz Republic is the first country in the world to adopt such a law.
The law was adopted by the Parliament on June 30, 2022.
On April 21, Sadyr Japarov signed the decree on measures to develop creative economy and create conditions for the progressive development of the Kyrgyz Republic.
