Schools in Kyrgyzstan started replacing traditional bell sound with melodic one. The head of the School Policy and Book Publishing Department, Samarkul Umralieva, told 24.kg news agency.
She noted that the process will be gradual, because it requires financial investments. Instead of a monotonous signal, classical and folk music will announce the beginning and end of the lesson soon.
This measure is provided for in the National Program for the Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Values, which was developed by the presidential administration in July 2022.
