Ex-employee of agricultural pharmacy steals money, tries to leave country

A former employee of an agricultural pharmacy stole a large amount of money from a safe in Issyk-Kul region and tried to leave the country. Press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.

The police received a message about the theft of 260,000 soms from a safe in the office of an agricultural pharmacy.

The fact was registered. Police officers found out that the law violators entered the yard through the roof of a neighboring house and, having broken the front door, entered the building. They turned off the security cameras, took the keys and opened the safe, took money and fled.

A suspect, 37-year-old B.A., who previously worked in this office, was detained while crossing the border through Ak-Zhol checkpoint.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact under article 205 «Theft» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. An investigation is underway.
