The number of people who got food poisoning in Kadamdzhai district increased to 122 people. The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, 43 victims (including two children) are receiving inpatient treatment at the Kadamdzhai General Medical Practice Center, two — at the Aidarken General Medical Practice Center, and the remaining 77 people are receiving outpatient treatment.
According to preliminary results of laboratory tests, Proteus vulgaris and Staphylococcus aureus were identified in the clinical materials of five victims, and Proteus vulgaris — in six victims. The selected samples (boiled meat, grilled chicken) also contained Proteus vulgaris.
Clinical materials taken from the victims and samples taken from the personnel for detection of pathogens of intestinal infections, as well as swabs taken at the facility, are being processed.
A wedding reception with the participation of 250 people took place in Almaz banquet hall on July 30. The first victims (48 people) turned for medical help on July 31.
