The number of people who got food poisoning in Kadamdzhai district increased to 89 people. The Department of Disease Prevention and State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to it, 16 people were hospitalized, including two children.
«They were provided with the first aid, detoxification therapy was carried out. The condition of patients improved. Clinical materials were taken for laboratory testing from the victims (gastric lavage),» the department said.
According to the epidemiological investigation, a wedding reception with the participation of 250 people took place in Almaz banquet hall on July 30. The menu included three salads, melons, fruits, grilled chicken and hot dishes (meat, pies, plov), boiled meat. Salads and boiled meat were prepared by the wedding organizers at home and brought to the cafe. The banquet hall prepared the hot dishes.
«Epidemiologists checked the production conditions in the cafe, took 39 swabs from inventory, utensils, and took samples from six employees for the presence of intestinal infections. Samples of the remains of finished products, both home-made and cooked in the cafe, were taken for laboratory tests,» the department said.
Infringement notice was drawn up for the head of the cafe, according to which he will be fined in accordance with the Code of Offenses. An order has been issued to temporarily close the cafe.
