The Park of Friendship between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan is promised to be opened by Independence Day. Head of Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek Azamat Doroev told journalists.
According to him, another park Balalyk will be opened for citizens and guests of the capital at the intersection of Baitik Baatyr and Tokombaev streets on August 31.
The official added that landscaping work is underway; 500,000 flowers have been planted. Balalyk will be a flower park.
Construction of the Park of Friendship of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan began in January 2020 and it was promised to open it in the same year during the visit of the President Ilham Aliyev.
