Deputy head of Kyrgyzkurortourism Department under the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan was detained on suspicion of corruption. Press center of the State Committee for National Security reports.
«It has been established that from 2012 to 2021 the deputy head, who served as director of Jalal-Abad sanatorium, organized a criminal scheme to illegally withdraw funds from the institution for personal enrichment,» the statement says.
According to the investigation, over nine years the sanatorium suffered damage in the amount of more than 42 million soms. The suspect was detained and placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security. The investigation is ongoing.
