Bishkek moved to the yellow zone in terms of COVID-19 incidence. The Acting Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Zharkynbek Kasymbekov told at a press conference.
He noted that the situation is currently stable.
«To date, 128 infected have been registered. But there is no reason for concern. If necessary, we can introduce partial restrictions, for example, wearing of masks requirement, possibly remote work, if there are more than 10 people in the team. But there is no reason for panic now. Our system is ready for any scenario,» Zharkynbek Kasymbekov said and urged the population to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
He noted that since the situation is stable, the Ministry of Health does not see the need to publish statistics daily. «Everyone interprets the numbers in their own way. If there is a need, we are ready to provide information every hour, but there is none,» Zharkynbek Kasymbekov said.
