COVID-19: Over 260,000 doses of vaccines written off in Kyrgyzstan

At least 267,578 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been written off in Kyrgyzstan. The Acting Minister of Health Zharkynbek Kasymbekov told at a press conference.

According to him, the vaccines had a short shelf life and some of them were not used.

In total, 3,567,100 doses of the vaccines were used, most of them were Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

«There are 2,333,522 Sinopharm vaccines left in the republic. In addition, we are waiting for delivery of the Pfizer vaccine through COVAX,» the Acting Minister said.

People need to get used to living with the coronavirus. Do not be afraid of the virus, but observe precautions.

At least 201,704 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Kyrgyzstan since March 2020.
