President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov had a telephone conversation with the leader of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Press service of the head of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The leaders of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, as well as the results of the recent 4th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region.
Taking the opportunity, Sadyr Japarov warmly congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday and wished him good health, prosperity and success in responsible state activities for the benefit of the Uzbek people.
The President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the congratulations and warm wishes and confirmed his readiness to continue expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations based on the principles of friendship, partnership and alliance.
