Citizen of Russia took $150,000 from a Kyrgyzstani, promising to increase the amount, and disappeared without returning the money. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of Oktyabrsky district of Bishkek reported.
The man turned to the police on July 15 and asked to take action against the Russian citizen.
According to the applicant, the Russian gained his trust and on September 24, 2020, under the pretext of receiving a benefit of $30 million when investing in his bank transaction, took $150,000 from him and disappeared.
The suspected 46-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
