Schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan win medals at International Chemistry Olympiad

Two schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan won bronze medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

According to it, the Olympiad was held in an online format. More than 300 schoolchildren from 84 countries of the world took part in it.

«Each state is represented by four children, including from Kyrgyzstan. A graduate of the 11th grade of the Issyk-Kul Lyceum named after Kusein Karasaev Azamat Salamatov and a student of the Tokmak Lyceum named after Zhusup Balasagyn Ivan Reshetnikov won bronze medals,» the ministry noted.

The International Chemistry Olympiad has been held since 1968 for schoolchildren under 20. The organizer of the Olympiad was China.
