Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov wins gold medal at Maccabiah Games

Swimmer Denis Petrashov won a gold medal at the Maccabiah Games, which take place in Israel every four years. Website of the competitions says.

The Kyrgyzstani took the first place at a distance of 200m breaststroke.

The 21^st Maccabiah Games, in which athletes from 60 countries participate, are held on July 12 through July 26. They were supposed to take place in 2021, but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The best athletes will be chosen in 29 sports and 42 sports disciplines.
