Ex-deputy of the Parliament and former head of MegaCom company Akylbek Zhamangulov, who was detained on suspicion of fraud, was placed under house arrest. The Bishkek City Court reported.
The decision was previously taken by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Bishkek. The higher court upheld it.
Akylbek Zhamangulov was detained on March 12. He is suspected of fraud on an especially large scale. He was kept in the detention center 1 in Bishkek.
