Kyrgyzstan will be represented by 60 athletes at the Asian Wrestling Championships among athletes under 17 and under 23 years old. President of the Wrestling Federation Melis Turganbaev told at a press conference.
According to him, eminent wrestlers, winners of the Asian and World Championships, such as Meerim and Sezim Zhumanazarov, Aiperi Medet kyzy, Kalmira Bilimbek kyzy, Nurmukhamed Abdullaev, Zhumashbek uulu Taiyrbek, Akylbek Talantbekov and others will represent the country.
Athletes from 21 countries will participate in the championships. Wrestlers from China and Thailand could not come.
The Asian U17 and U23 Championships will be held on June 19-26 on the arena of the city ice rink in Bishkek.
