«Shambala» film, directed by Artykbai Suyundukov, won a prize at the Brooklyn Film Festival, which ended in New York. Website of the festival says.
The film was awarded for the Best Cinematography.
Shambhala is based on Chingiz Aitmatov’s novel «The White Ship». The film was produced by the national Kyrgyzfilm film studio with the participation of Aitysh Film.
