Since the beginning of the year, 593,900 tons of milk have been produced in Kyrgyzstan, which is 11,100 tons more than last year. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.

Milk production increased in all regions of the republic, except for Batken. The main reason for the decline in production in the region was a reduction in the number of cows by 1,246 heads.

In general, the increase in milk production in the republic is due to an increase in the number of cows by 13,700 heads and an average milk yield per cow by 3.5 kilograms compared to the last year period.
