Coronavirus situation is stable in Kyrgyzstan, single cases are registered. The head of the Department for Prevention of Infectious, Parasitic Diseases and Epidemiological Surveillance of the Department for Disease Prevention, State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance Dinara Otorbaeva told at a press conference.
According to her, 12 cases were detected in people traveling outside the country during the week.
«They did not know that they were sick, since the disease was asymptomatic. Coronavirus was detected in the laboratory. In some cases, the disease was detected in those who returned to Kyrgyzstan from other countries. People turned for medical help when symptoms appeared. But everyone has a mild form of the disease. They are being treated at home,» Dinara Otorbaeva said.
She added that a slight increase in ARVI cases was registered over the past week, compared with the previous one. According to laboratory data, adenoviruses, parainfluenza, metapneumovirus are registered most often.
The Ministry of Health has stopped publishing statistics on detected and treated cases of coronavirus since May 11.
