The Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF), together with the Russian Export Center, will organize a business mission of Russian companies to Bishkek from June 13 to June 15. Press service of RKDF reports.
More than 100 representatives of Russian enterprises are expected to visit the capital. Among others, Sberbank, VTB Bank, Roseximbank JSC, Natspromleasing LLC, Inter RAO, Miratorg Holding and others have confirmed their participation. Two days of work will be devoted to discussing a wide range of issues. Representatives of government agencies, banks, development institutions, Russian and Kyrgyz companies will discuss the prospects for development of hydropower, trade and economic cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, as well as issues in the field of education, the possibility of opening a Russian business in Kyrgyzstan. Bilateral negotiations between the companies are also planned.
«We are changing approaches to the work of the fund and are trying not only to lend to businesses, but also to attract investments to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. Last year we held two big events — this is the third Kyrgyz-Russian Business Forum in Issyk-Kul region and the first business mission. During the forum, 13 documents were signed. At the second business mission, the interest and representation of Russian firms is higher than during the first mission in November. We see an active interest of Russian business in entering the Kyrgyz market. There is also a desire of domestic business to export our products to the markets of the Russian Federation and increase the volume of interaction. Therefore, we try to meet as much as possible all the needs and willingness that domestic entrepreneurs have,» Artyom Novikov, RKDF Chairman of the Board, told 24.kg news agency.
