A 46-year-old man was detained on suspicion of murder in Naryn region. Press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region reported.
The police received a message from the regional hospital about a 71-year-old man with a knife wound.
«It turned out that the resident of Alysh village K.T. came home drunk and had a quarrel with his wife. The father of the suspect decided to intercede for his daughter-in-law. At this point, K.T. stabbed his father in the heart with a knife. The man died at the scene. The suspect fled the scene but was arrested. A criminal case has been initiated. The detainee was placed in a temporary detention center,» the department said.
