At year-end 2022, real GDP growth will be about 3.4 percent. Excluding Kumtor, the growth will be about 3 percent. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan made such a forecast.
The real sector of the Kyrgyz economy is expected to show a moderate growth in 2022. Production growth at the enterprises developing Kumtor mine is expected to exceed the output of 2021.
