Deputy of Parliament proposes to increase drinking water tariff

MP Dastan Bekeshev proposes to raise the tariff for drinking water. He stated this on his Telegram channel.

According to him, he recently visited Bishkekvodokanal and can say that the municipal enterprise has a lot of problems:

  • Pipe wear — 70 percent;
  • Water loss — 30 percent;
  • Low wages of employees;
  • Lack of modern metering devices.

The deputy believes that in order to improve the situation, it is necessary to increase the tariff for drinking water. «Eight soms per 1 ton is too little,» Dastan Bekeshev concluded.
