Advisor to Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan detained

Adviser to the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan has been detained in Bishkek. Press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.

Actual whereabouts of the 28-year-old Meerim Tilekova, adviser to the Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, was established on Tuesday.

«The detainee was taken to the city of Karakol for further investigative actions. Previously, a criminal case was opened under the article «Extortion of bribe» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Appropriate investigative measures are being taken,» the SCNS said.

Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told that his adviser, who was a secretary of his deputy, was questioned by the SCNS officers. They threatened the girl with violence, in connection with which she does not leave the house.

The day before, three deputies of Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev and employees of the ministry made a statement against the Minister of Health. According to them, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev conducts unjustified personnel policy. In particular, Meerim Tilekova was appointed to the position of secretary of Deputy Minister of Health Uluk-Bek Bekturganov. In April, the girl wrote a resignation letter, and the next day she was appointed advisor to the minister.
