The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial and Legal Issues of the Parliament did not support the bill on People's Kurultai.
After the discussion, the committee chairman Meder Aliyev called on his colleagues to vote for the concept of the draft law. However, only four MPs voted for it.
Presidential Envoy to Parliament Almazbek Abytov said that the majority of the committee members voted for the bill. "Seven parliament members were present in the hall, four of them were, the bill passed," he said.
