The World Bank will assist Bishkek in the fight against smog. Press service of the capital’s City Hall reported.
According to the press service, the cooperation was discussed at the meeting of the Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov with experts of the World Bank mission. The participants talked about implementation of the project «Improvement of Air Quality in Bishkek».
«The mission has already identified several key areas of both technical assistance and investment components,» the City Hall noted.
In turn, Emilbek Abdykadyrov expressed his readiness for active long-term cooperation and named priority issues that should be included in the project.
