President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymukhamedov intends to develop a comprehensive partnership with Kyrgyzstan. He said this at a meeting with Speaker of the Parliament Talant Mamytov. Press service of the Parliament reported.
Delegation of MPs is taking part in the first inter-parliamentary forum of Central Asia and the Russian Federation in Ashgabat.
The parties discussed issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation.
«Kyrgyzstan is interested in further development of the established dynamic and sustainable interstate relations with Turkmenistan, in particular, cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Activation of interaction in the field of energy and agriculture is a priority. It is also necessary to expand inter-parliamentary dialogue,» Talant Mamytov said.
Serdar Berdymukhamedov shared his views on the implementation of joint economic projects. «We intend to develop a comprehensive partnership with Kyrgyzstan,» he said.
