The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia provided assistance in the form of advisory, legal and practical assistance in sending 15 bodies of deceased citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic (cargoes 200) to their homeland. Report of the diplomatic mission says.
According to the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, relatives and friends of the deceased were paid monetary compensation for the costs associated with the delivery of bodies to their homeland.
During the specified period, the diplomatic mission helped the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic to get the wages withheld by employers in the total amount of 626,500 rubles.
According to official data, 1,118 million citizens of Kyrgyzstan work in foreign countries, a million of them — in Russia.
More than 300 migrants from the Kyrgyz Republic die in the Russian Federation every year for various reasons. Delivery of the bodies of the dead to their homeland remains an acute problem for compatriots, since the transportation of cargoes 200 to their homeland is one of the most expensive procedures for the diaspora.
