Prosecutor’s office of Latvia imposed a fine of 5,000 euros on a Kyrgyzstani who tried to bribe a Latvian border guard. Foreign media report.
According to them, on May 5, border guards of Silene border crossing point identified a citizen of Kyrgyzstan who was going to enter Latvia in a vehicle without a valid technical inspection. In order to cross the border without hindrance, the driver offered 100 euros to the border guards.
A criminal case was initiated against the 63-year-old Kyrgyzstani for bribery. The man will have to pay the fine.
