Manaschi and the former director of Manas Aiyly cultural and ethnographic complex Doolot Sydykov left the country with his family.

He announced his dismissal from the post of head of Manas Aiyly cultural and ethnographic complex to Radio Azattyk, but did not name the reasons for his departure and what country he went to. At the same time, he confirmed that he was under pressure.

Doolot Sydykov, being the director of Manas Aiyly cultural and ethnographic complex, criticized the presidential administration and president’s entourage. He also stated that the builders working on the new building of the administration of the head of state illegally demolished the fence and seized part of the territory of the complex.

The complex was transferred to the balance of the General Directorate of Bishkek Free Economic Zone in 1998. Manas Aiyly has been in a deplorable state for many years.

In 2019, the Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov promised that he would study reconstruction options, if Manas Aiyly was transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism.
