London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) reinstated Kyrgyzaltyn refinery to the Good Delivery List. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov reported on Facebook.

The Cabinet’s website also notes that «the Cabinet of Ministers welcomes and appreciates the decision of the LBMA to restore Good Delivery status.»

«This decision was not easy. Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC had to pass many tests and undergo an audit procedure during the last year events, when the owner of the largest gold mining enterprise was changed. We have been able to demonstrate our strong commitment to the letter and spirit of our commitment to the LBMA as a trusted supplier of gold and silver to the global market. I am confident that the refinery of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC will continue to fully comply with all its obligations in the LBMA,» Akylbek Japarov, head of the Cabinet, was quoted as saying.

He believes that the decision to restore the full access of Kyrgyz gold to the world market is another recognition of the just policy of the team of the current President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

«We were able not only to achieve the victory of the interests of our people, but we did it, as promised from the first day, in full compliance with all international and legal obligations,» the Cabinet of Ministers quotes Akylbek Japarov as saying.

«All gold and silver refined during the suspension is considered to be compliant with GDL rules and, therefore, Good Delivery,» LBMA said in a statement.
