The size of the total wage arrears in the country decreased by 5.9 percent compared to the same date in 2021, amounting to 316 million soms. The National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The average monthly nominal salary of an employee in January-February 2022 (excluding small enterprises) was 20,163 soms, having increased by 13 percent compared to January-February 2021. Its real size, calculated taking into account the consumer price index, increased by 1.8 percent.
The National Statistical Committee clarified that based on the official exchange rate set by the National Bank, the average monthly salary of a state employee in January-February 2022 was $237.
