An offsite meeting of the Council for Development of the Region took place in Batken. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce reports.
A draft plan for distribution of 500 million soms was discussed. Based on the results of the meeting, taking into account the socio-economic situation of the areas affected by the events on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border on April 28-30, 2021, a decision was made to financially support projects aimed at the social and economic development of Batken, Kyzyl-Kiya, Sulukta cities.
The heads of districts and cities were instructed to prepare plans by May 11 that provide for measures to address the most problematic issues: creating jobs, ensuring income.
Most of the projects proposed by the heads of local administrations are not included in the roadmap for implementation of the Batken region development program for 2021-2035. It was decided to recommend the Cabinet to supplement the roadmap.
