The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary discussed projects of joint ventures in the field of power plants and water management. The ministry reports.
It was a working meeting between the Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjártó. They discussed the activities of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, in particular, completion of the process of harmonization and approval of the main regulatory internal documents, and noted readiness of the fund to carry out work on the selection of investment projects and subsequent concessional lending.
The parties discussed the projects of joint ventures in the field of power plants, water management, import of Hungarian cattle into the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the supply of ATMs.
As Peter Szijjarto noted, successful implementation of these projects will allow to proceed to the stage of further increasing the fund’s authorized capital by $34 million in accordance with previously reached agreements.
