President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, who arrived in the country on an official visit.
According to the press service of the head of state, the parties exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint investment projects through the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
Sadyr Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan and Hungary actively support political dialogue and develop mutually beneficial cooperation. «We are pleased with the positive dynamics of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian strategic partnership,» he said, confirming that the Kyrgyz side expects a state visit of the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban this year.
The President awarded Peter Szijjarto with Dostuk Order, noting his personal attention and contribution to the strengthening of Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations, strategic partnership and friendship. «We were once again convinced of this during the emergency evacuation of more than a hundred of our citizens from Ukraine,» he stressed.
