Russian online retailer Wildberries opened the first distribution center in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the company reported.
It will strengthen partnerships with representatives of local businesses, as well as speed up the delivery of orders to residents of the country.
The distribution center sorts orders arriving in the republic, as well as accepts deliveries from local entrepreneurs and subsequently transports them to large distribution centers of the company.
«The opening of the new Wildberries center will allow business representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic to reduce their own logistics costs, increase sales and expand the range of their products on the marketplace. According to the results of the first quarter, the number of local entrepreneurs registered on our online platform increased to 2,150. The most popular local goods were clothing and footwear, pet supplies, dishes and various kitchen utensils, as well as cosmetics and perfumery,» the company’s press service commented.
