Temporary changes have been made to the rules for making money transfers through money transfer systems in Kyrgyzstan. The National Bank reports.
The National Bank notes that the payment systems in the country operate normally, but to ensure the economic security of Kyrgyzstan and stabilize the situation in the domestic foreign exchange market, the National Bank adopted temporary changes to the rules for making money transfers through money transfer systems.
«The changes are temporary and establish the requirements for the currency of receipt of money transfer through international money transfer systems on the territory of the country. Money transfers can be received in the currency of the sender’s country. Conversion into another currency is carried out in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan. With the consent of the recipient/sender located in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, the money transfer can be converted by non-cash method upon receipt/sending,» the National Bank stressed.
