Head coach of the Kyrgyz national futsal team Amirzhan Mukanov resigned. Futsal Association reported on Instagram.
«I have spent six years with the country’s top team. It was hard work. I am grateful to the President and Executive Committee of the Kyrgyz Football Union for the opportunity to work with the futsal team, I am grateful to every player and all fans for their support and criticism. We managed to show that our futsal can be competitive,» the Association quotes Amirzhan Mukanov as saying.
Amirzhan Mukanov had served as head coach since 2016. Under his leadership, the team reached the finals of the Asian Cup twice.
In 2022, Kyrgyzstanis did not qualify for the Asian Cup, taking only third place in their group in the qualifying round.
