A special platform has been created to control the green spaces planted as part of Zhashyl Muras national campaign. The head of the department for monitoring and analysis of reforms of the Political and Economic Research Department of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Temirkulov announced at a press conference.
According to him, all government agencies and local governments should send information about planted trees to the Forestry Department. This is done to monitor the plant care.
«Our task is to make sure that not a single tree is left without watering. Each government agency that has planted saplings must take responsibility for caring for them. Citizens and private companies can also send information, it will be uploaded to the platform. We want to see all the trees planted, to monitor so that everyone takes responsibility for their saplings and grow them to the state of a full-fledged tree,» Azamat Temirkulov concluded.
President Sadyr Japarov launched the national campaign Zhashyl Muras throughout Kyrgyzstan in mid-March as part of the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development and the Year of Protection of Mountain Ecosystems and Climate Resilience. It is planned to plant 5-6 million saplings annually.
