Restrictions on crossing the state border of Kazakhstan at land checkpoints with Kyrgyzstan were lifted on April 11, 2022.

From midnight on April 11, Kyrgyzstanis began to cross the border through Ak Zhol checkpoint. Reasons for the border crossing are no longer required.

It is noted that citizens can cross the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border through Chaldybar, Ak Zhol, Ken-Bulun and Tokmak checkpoints.
