Local elections: No losing parties in Kara-Balta, Tash-Kumyr and Toktogul

Elections to local councils were held in three cities and 13 villages of Kyrgyzstan on April 10. Voters elected deputies of local councils, including in Kara-Balta, Tash-Kumyr and Toktogul.

According to preliminary data received from the automatically reading ballot boxes, all parties participating in the race in these cities have overcome the seven percent threshold.

The following parties got into the City Council in Kara-Balta:

Yiman Nuru;
Kuchtuu Koom — Strong Society;
Ishenim;
Elaman;
Alliance.

The deputy seats were distributed among the following parties in Tash-Kumyr:

Zhashtar;
Yntymak;
Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan.

Seven political organizations won in Toktogul:

Tynchtyk;
Meken Yntymagy;
Ata Zhurt Kyrgyzstan;
El Umutu;
Yntymak;
Birge — Together;
Ishenim.

The Central Election Commission should announce the official results no later than on April 30 after consideration of all complaints and completion of litigation.
