Two policemen detained for drug trafficking in Osh city

Two policemen were detained for drug trafficking in Osh city. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

It is noted that a 40-year-old police lieutenant colonel, who is the chief of the Organized Crime Control Department of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs, and a 24-year-old junior inspector of the 4^th platoon of the Department of the Patrol Police Service, were detained at 03.15 a.m. on April 2 while stashing a drug weighting 1 kilogram.

The fact was registered under Article 282 «Illegal manufacturing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues with the intent to sell» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

As a result of the work, one of the drug trafficking channels in Osh was suppressed.
