President Sadyr Japarov asks Kyrgyzstanis to reconsider their spending and switch to saving mode. He stated this today at the republican meeting of social workers.
«I know the situation is difficult right now. Everything is expensive. Prices have risen. Unemployment persists. There is not enough money for the essentials. The situation may actually get worse due to recent world events. We must be ready for this,» the president said.
I urge all of us to reconsider spending, to delay purchase of expensive things, not to hold feasts and stop wasting money.

«You know that by decree I recommended limiting livestock sacrifices at funerals,» the head of state says.
Sadyr Japarov notes that the most important thing now is to ensure food security.
«Both at the state level and at the level of each family I ask everyone not to leave a single field unsown, use every spring day to work in the garden and clean the canals. A day feeds a year! The state will spare no effort to provide social care for every citizen of Kyrgyzstan. You can be sure of that,» he said.
