The volume of water in Toktogul reservoir began to increase as of April 1, 2022, but still remains below 8 billion cubic meters.
The water volume to date is 7,848.79 billion cubic meters. It increased by 1.91 million cubic meters per day. Since the beginning of the year, the water level decreased by 2,626.61 billion cubic meters, and compared to the same period last year — by 867.21 million cubic meters.
As of today, the water inflow into the reservoir is 173 cubic meters per second, while the flow rate is 151 cubic meters per second.
During a visit to Toktogul hydroelectric power plant, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov instructed to complete the repair work on time, as well as to reach the volume of at least 8 billion cubic meters of water by April 1.
