Tomorrow, on March 31, is the last day of vaccination with Sputnik Light in Kyrgyzstan. The Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis (RCI) told 24.kg news agency.
According to the center, the available vaccine doses will expire soon. After collecting data from the regions, it will be clear how many doses remain unused.
«As of today, there are more than 2 million doses of vaccines, 1.5 million of which are Sinopharm, which have a shelf life until the end of 2023. There are enough Pfizer and Moderna doses, their shelf life is until July 2022,» the RCI informed.
According to official statistics, 1,487,500 people have been vaccinated with the first dose of vaccine against coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan. At least 1,236,200 people have been fully vaccinated.
Sputnik Light in the amount of 200,000 doses was delivered to Kyrgyzstan in November 2021 as humanitarian aid from Russia.
