Kyrgyz students win 14 medals at British Biology Olympiad

Kyrgyzstan’s students have won 14 medals at the British Biology Olympiad. Press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

According to its data, the Olympiad was held on March 12. More than 10,000 students from 700 schools worldwide participated in it.

A total of 184 participants representing Kyrgyzstan won four gold, five silver, and five bronze medals.

Gold medals were won by:

• Alai Almazov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10^th grade;
• Rakhman Marat uulu — Kyzyl-Kiya lyceum named after I. Razzakov, 10^th grade;
• Nurislam Abdisamatov — Jaiyl Baatyr lyceum, 10th grade;
• Bekmyrza Zhumagulov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 11th grade.

Silver medalists:

• Arslan Momunaliev — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10^th grade;
• Umar Temiraliev — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 10^th grade;
• Sagyndyk Kurmanbekov — Osh lyceum Sema, 11^th grade;
• Bektemir Keldibekov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10^th grade;
• Daniyar Gaipov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 9^th grade.

Bronze medalists:

• Daler Zhumanaliev — Jalal-Abad lyceum named after Kurmanbek Baatyr, 11^th grade;
• Baizak Karypzhanov — Talas Manas-Ata lyceum, 9^th grade;
• Ulukbek Kamytov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 11^th grade;
• Ilim Zholdoshbekov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 11^th grade;
• Akylbek Zamirov — Issyk-Kul educational complex Kut Bilim, 11th grade.
