Kyrgyz students win 14 medals at British Biology Olympiad

Kyrgyzstan’s students have won 14 medals at the British Biology Olympiad. Press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
According to its data, the Olympiad was held on March 12. More than 10,000 students from 700 schools worldwide participated in it.
A total of 184 participants representing Kyrgyzstan won four gold, five silver, and five bronze medals.
Gold medals were won by:
- Alai Almazov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10th grade;
- Rakhman Marat uulu — Kyzyl-Kiya lyceum named after I. Razzakov, 10th grade;
- Nurislam Abdisamatov — Jaiyl Baatyr lyceum, 10th grade;
- Bekmyrza Zhumagulov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 11th grade.
Silver medalists:
- Arslan Momunaliev — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10th grade;
- Umar Temiraliev — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 10th grade;
- Sagyndyk Kurmanbekov — Osh lyceum Sema, 11th grade;
- Bektemir Keldibekov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 10th grade;
- Daniyar Gaipov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 9th grade.
Bronze medalists:
- Daler Zhumanaliev — Jalal-Abad lyceum named after Kurmanbek Baatyr, 11th grade;
- Baizak Karypzhanov — Talas Manas-Ata lyceum, 9th grade;
- Ulukbek Kamytov — Bishkek lyceum named after Aitmatov, 11th grade;
- Ilim Zholdoshbekov — Naryn lyceum named after M. Subakozhoev, 11th grade;
- Akylbek Zamirov — Issyk-Kul educational complex Kut Bilim, 11th grade.
