President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited the trauma unit of the National Hospital. Presidential press service reports.
According to the Chief Physician Toktobai Maanaev, this building of the hospital has ceased to function and has been idle since 2011, was in a deplorable state. The building has been repaired and partial admission of patients started there this year.
The head of state inspected the newly renovated building of the trauma unit, designed for more than 150 beds. The building, which meets all modern requirements of medicine, will have bone-purulent, traumatology, adult orthopedic departments, as well as the department of joint pathology. It also has operating rooms and intensive care units.
Sadyr Japarov talked with the staff of the hospital, answered questions regarding salaries, housing for medical workers and cooperation with foreign clinics.
He reminded that it was planned to increase wages of social workers, including health workers from April 1 this year.
He once again noted that a state program on preferential mortgage lending, aimed at providing housing not only for social workers, but in general for all citizens of the country has been implemented in the country.
According to the president, efforts to increase access to preferential mortgage resources for all categories of citizens will continue.
During the visit to the trauma unit, it became known about the disputes between the Ministry of Health and one of the contracting companies that repaired the building. In the presence of Sadyr Japarov, the disputed issues between the parties were resolved, the building will begin to function in full from April 1.
