Tourism Development Support Fund established in Kyrgyzstan

Tourism Development Support Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic JSC, the decision on the establishment of which was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov, will engage in initiatives aimed at development of the domestic tourism industry. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.

The authorized capital of the JSC is one billion soms.

The fund’s activities will help to:

• Improve the state of infrastructure for receiving tourists in the regions;
• Create additional jobs in the remote regions of our country
• Support socially vulnerable segments of the population, namely women, by conducting training programs, workshops and increasing employment of the population in tourist locations;
• Increase the level of education of the population and the quality of services provided in the tourism sector;
• Expand the geography of tours and create more attractive and competitive tourism products;
• Qualitatively increase the number of tourists visiting the country;
• Improve the image of Kyrgyzstan in the international arena.
