Situation in Ukraine: Vladimir Putin makes several statements

The President of Russia held a meeting on the social and economic development of the regions.

The main statements made at the meeting:

• In the foreseeable future, the pro-Nazi regime in Kyiv could get nuclear weapons and its the target would be Russia.
• Russia does not intend to occupy Ukraine.
• The special operation is proceeding successfully, strictly according to plan; the tactics of military operations developed by the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff has fully justified itself.
• Moscow offered Kyiv to avoid bloodshed at the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine.
• Western patrons are pushing Kyiv to bloodshed by supplying weapons and mercenaries.
• The Russian Federation had no other option to ensure its security, except for a special military operation in Ukraine.
• Moscow will never allow Ukraine to serve as a staging area for threats against Russia.
• The West does not need a strong Russia, it is repeating its attempt to «drive it beyond Mozhai» and divide the country.
